Zimbabwe is no longer being run by a government chosen by the people. Instead, the country is controlled by a secret and illegal group that hides behind the name of ZANU PF. This group is not interested in helping Zimbabweans. Their only goal is to steal money and resources while staying in power through fear and cheating. What we see now is not leadership. It is looting, lying, and lawlessness.
ZANU PF has turned Zimbabwe into a playground for corruption. They did not win the people’s vote, yet they act like kings. They break the law, ignore the constitution, and rule through fear and violence. The real leaders of the country are not elected. They work in the shadows. These are people whose main job is to steal from the nation and keep power so they can keep getting rich.
They don’t care about fixing water problems, hospitals, or schools. They don’t care if people are hungry or unemployed. All they want is to control Zimbabwe’s money and natural resources. They loot diamonds, gold, and even public money meant for development. They do all this while ordinary people suffer.
This same shadow group is also destroying our constitution. They don’t want a fair legal system. They don’t want independent judges. They don’t want parliament to work. Why? Because a working democracy would stop them from stealing. So they destroy the rule of law and change laws to protect themselves. They don’t want justice. They want to stay in charge, no matter what.
Public offices are now given to friends, relatives, and people from the right tribe. It doesn’t matter if someone is qualified. What matters is loyalty to ZANU PF. That’s how people who know nothing about their jobs are now running key parts of the country. These officials are not serving the people. They are protecting the looters and hiding the truth.
The system is broken. The people running Zimbabwe are not interested in building the country. They are only interested in getting rich. Their homes are full of luxury, their cars are expensive, and their children live in comfort while the rest of the country suffers. ZANU PF leaders say they care about the people, but their actions show otherwise. If they cared, there would be clean water in towns. There would be electricity. There would be jobs. But there is nothing.
Zimbabwe’s towns and cities are falling apart. Roads are destroyed. Streetlights don’t work. Water taps are dry. Even boreholes are now being used as campaign tools by people who failed to build proper water systems. They point fingers at local councils, but the real cause is the national government that refused to invest in infrastructure for decades.
This is no longer just bad leadership. This is criminal. ZANU PF is running the country like a mafia. They loot with no shame. They use fear, lies, and state power to silence the truth. They want Zimbabweans to remain poor and afraid, so they can rule forever.
If we allow this to continue, Zimbabwe will become a failed state. It will become like some countries in West Africa that are now full of war and hunger. The region will be unstable. People will run away. Chaos will take over.
We cannot wait any longer. The people of Zimbabwe must rise up and demand change. We must expose the looters. We must speak the truth. We must say NO to the mafia state and YES to democracy. The future of our country depends on it.
